Navy Pier has been my bucket list item for years and we were so lucky with conditions.  All the staff including Charlie, Bianca, Helen and Juss were amazing. Even though we had a rough day out there with not the best conditions the crew stayed organised, professional, calm, patient & polite which I appreciate a lot in stressful situations and definitely have seen different before!

Also love the small groups, the big boat and very clear communication from start to finish.

Had a great first dive with lots of fish, a turtle, shark, sea snake, rays and and and. Dive Master Bianca very friendly, pointing out small & big things and enjoying her job!!

Second dive got cancelled which is understandable and I support that decision in this situation. Refund was processed within a few hours.

A well organised boat & team, all gear provided, including warmer 5mm wetsuits, and morning tea & lunch.

We saw several turtles, colourful coral, & lots of beautiful fish.

If you’re prone to seasickness take your tablets before you get on the boat. It’s about 1 hour 45 minutes to the snorkeling site. read less

We had an amazing couple of days out diving with the crew and had the best time. Convenient pick ups (and they're not at the crack of dawn) and drop offs, easy BBQ lunches, excellent skippers & crew, good location for their boat Keto - minimal other boats around so easy access and no waiting around. Just a very well run operation overall.



Big ups to Jade, Fab, and DMT Charlie - they were so fun and brought all the vibes; and to Maria, who replied to all my hectic emails and phone calls and planned our days out perfectly.  Thanks for making our time so special! read less

The crew at Dive Ningaloo was very well organised and offered 5mm or 7mm wetsuit with our gear hire. Had a great in-depth dive site briefing that put everyone at ease and showed what marine life we should be looking out for.

Once down there, all our expectations were surpassed with visibility of 10-12m and an abundance of marine life. The highlights were the nudibranches, big friendly grouper and the schools of lion fish. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting Exmouth. read less

So it started for me when I went for a discover dive to see weather or not i could dive (because I have ear problems). Everything changed as soon as I arrived at  the boat and met my instructor for the day. I explained to my  instructor about my problem and she said no worrys she will do everything so that i will feel comfortable. Took me a bit of time to get to the bottom and ajust but after that I was at the sea floor swimming like I had no problems. she was very helpful when she explained to me how to overcome my problem. So because of how comfortable and comfident all the crew and my instructor of course. I went back and did my open water course with them and passed with no problems.

So I just wanted to share my personal experience  and say thanks to all the crew instructors,deckes,Skippy's,receptionists,and last to the two wonderful girls who were doing there masters. If you are having any doubts about diving with them then don't you will have the best time of your life.

Shout out to Ryan for taking us out this week, so relaxed and friendly, and Iowan (if spelt right!) and Jade too.

We love Dive Ningaloo and find the instructors are the perfect blend of being safety conscious and still treating you with respect - not speaking to down to you as other dive companies can often do with social divers.

Definitely dive the Navy Pier if you have time! read less

All the dives are fabulous. Of the ones I did, the dives at Muiron Islands were superb. Healthy and beautiful coral, lots of pretty fish etc. 

But I just want to give a special mention to all the team working at DN - and in particular Bonnie and Jade. They are both extremely impressive people, so enthusiastic, helpful, hugely capable underwater at spotting the marine life. You can see just how much they love their jobs, even though they are clearly diving the same sites time after time. Dive Ningaloo is lucky to have them working there. Everyone else on the boat, helping out with equipment and generally making everything run smoothly were great but my main interactions were with Bonnie and Jade. So thanks again and I hope to be back in Exmouth (from the UK) diving with DN some time in the next few years.

Dive Nigaloo attaches great importance to safety and is very well organised. Great all round, highly recommended. 

Booking right on their website with pick-up at your hotel in Exmouth - if needed.

Exceptional staff who went out of their way to make you feel welcome, safe and comfortable. Can't speak highly enough of the experience.

Fabulous dives to Muiron Islands, Ningaloo Reef and Exmouth Navy Pier. Truly excellent and professional dive tours with expert navigation and guidance

Saw amazing Manta show at Ningaloo and Navy Pier just teems with myriad aquatic life- grey nurse sharks, white tip reef sharks, sea snakes, schools of  trivially, barracuda and cod. Oh, and one of the biggest blue groupers I've ever seen. You will NOT be disappointed!

Overall I can't recommend Dive Ningaloo more higly- from Marie in the office ( behind the scenes), dive crew -Bonnie, Ryan, Alex, Neena, ( and one DM who's name escapes me), Bill the Master Boat skipper. All awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, fun people.

If you want to go diving with a first rate outfit, I wholeheartedly recommend Dive Ningaloo. THANKYOU for three brilliant dive days! read less

Shame about the windy weather We were due to go to the navy pier and the muiron islands but both days were cancelled due to... read moreWe were due to go to the navy pier and the muiron islands but both days were cancelled due to the winds making conditions unsafe. The weather was so bad all week the dives were not possible to be rescheduled. This meant we had to go to dive sites on the west side, which were not as good, not the volume of fish and marine life that we were expecting to see. The snorkelling  visibility was harder in the deeper water. It was a shame that some of the dive groups were split so that beginners were with more experienced divers which made the dive time a lot shorter than anticipated.

I do think the crew worked hard and made the best of the windy weather conditions.

We will try to come back to do the navy pier- I have heard so many good things about this dive. read less

As a first time diver, we booked the Discover Scuba Diving Experience and had the opportunity to dive at 2 locations on Ningaloo Reef around Lighthouse Bay. We had such an awesome day, which is a testament to the team at Dive Ningaloo. Timmy, was our guide who took us through all the gear and made sure we were comfortable and safe out in the water. We learnt about all the gear, and did some skills training before exploring the reef. We were able to see a variety of wildlife,  and a real highlight was swimming through the maze of limestone channels at the Labryinth site. An unforgettable day, thanks again to team Dive Ningaloo, and to Timmy for his excellent guidance. 

All gear, and food is provided for the day. Transfers included from accomodation to the site and back. Can't wait to dive again soon! read less

Exmouth Navy Pier is incredible. I’ve never seen so much on one dive. These guys have a guide to follow too. Great great double dive.

Ningaloo reef was awesome so much to see. The last day I booked for Murion islands but nature was rough and it was rescheduled. Turns out I dived the same 2 sites as yesterday but any day under water is good right?

Thanks to Tam, Bonnie, Manny (Gracias amigo!), Capt Bill and Mick and all of the crews. I think the lady at the desk Is Maria. She’s super helpful. read less

Fantastic dive experience - first time diver It was my second  time scuba diving (the last time being 20 years ago at the Barrier Reef for... read moreIt was my second  time scuba diving (the last time being 20 years ago at the Barrier Reef for half a day..so really my prior experience didn’t count!) and the crew made it a breeze. Mani and Dori were calm and experienced teachers. They taught us the basics before taking us  down, adjusting their approach to meet our capabilities. Mani took me on a guided tour of the reef - it was amazing! We saw a Manta Ray, turtles and a reef shark. I felt safe and in control at all times. If I am lucky enough to return to Exmouth, I will definitely do more dives with them. Thanks heaps Mani, Dori and Bonnie for the reassurance and drive home! read less

An intermediate dive site, and I can see why, but my sister did do a discovery dive here and the dive master Charlie really looked after her.  I have done about 60 dives around the world, but this would be one of the better (pier) dives I  have done. We were incredibly lucky with 5-7 vis (about the best it gets here). The crew were all great, and we saw about 12 sharks, huge schools of fish including tuna, woobegong sharks, rays and many other fish species. The BFG (big friendly giant groper) lived up to his reputation hanging around us for about 10mins wanting to check us out up to and including our safety stop. Even a tiny tiny seahorse attached itself to our descent rope. I wish I had of had an underwater camera, so I only have pier photos. read less

Including one day where Tam introduced our 12yo son to diving. My mistake, this will cost a fortune! He loved it!  Exmouth Navy Pier is incredible. I’ve never seen so much on one dive. These guys have a guide to follow too. Great great  double dive.  Ningaloo reef was awesome so much to see. The last day I booked for Murion islands but nature was rough and it was rescheduled. Turns out I dived the same 2 sites as yesterday but any day under water is good right?  Thanks to Tam, Bonnie, Manny (Gracias amigo!), Capt Bill and Mick and all of the crews. First of they are easy to book online, prices available, dates and pick up times all easily located.  Email sent directly to you with pick up times (very prompt in picking you up).  All dive equipment is ready to go if you are renting your gear (pretty  much included in the cost). Good quality diving gear as well.  My wife and I joined them for both the navy pier and Murion Island double dives on two separate days.  Both days did not disappoint. Hats off to the crew that are involved they are all bubbly, friendly and accommodating to all levels of diving experience.  Bonus is at the end of the day they drop you off back to your location and clean all of the gear for you. Definitely will be using this company for future dives in Exmouth. read less

I read another review by someone else who said they 'bark orders'. This was not my experience at all. I think  they are just really good at what they do and have to be very organised, very safe and very careful in dealing with what is an exceptionally unique dive site on ADF property. The dive has a lot of complicated factors such as needing to be dived at slack tide, needing photo id and access to the actual dive site. Dive Ningaloo do an incredible job within what are quite tight timelines to ensure everyone has the best experience possible. Would 100 percent dive with them again and hope to next time I return to Exmouth. … read less

Our dive master Tam was kind and so supportive of my daughter. Kane was fabulous too. It was an amazing place to learn to dive - Day 2 we  did 2 dives at Muiron Islands and Day 3 we dived at Ningaloo. Both days we had the opportunity for incredible snorkels with manta rays. Right from the very initial contact with Kirsten she asked the right questions, established the competency of us as divers and re-assured me that we'd be fine.  True to her word, the dive we had was exceptional. 

The bus and trailer made the transportation of our gear really simple and Tam & Brittany made the rules (ADF base) along with the explanation of the dive really easy to understand whilst ensuring the message was received.  Once in the water Brittany was an amazing guide, constantly checking on the kids whilst ensuring we maximised our time under water.  Upon surfacing Tam had some delicious hot soup much to the delight of all our group.  

I can see why Navy Pier is rated so highly as a dive site and our experience there with Dive Ningaloo couldn't have been better.  Thank you all for 'not to be forgotten' dive. read less

We hit Exmouth right after... read moreGreat diving experiences with Dive Ningaloo, including the BBQ on the boat during surface interval! We hit Exmouth right after an epic storm and the weather was not ideal (mid-June '21), but Kirsten and crew did a great job to adjust plans and still get us out diving whilst keeping our safety in mind too.

Since it had been 3 years, we did a refresher with Brit who was diligent and patient with us and the others. We ended up doing three days on Ningaloo Reef and one dive at the Navy pier. All excellent dives led by Chloe and Charlie, so much to see on the reef from beauty Nudis to massive rays.

Thanks Dive Ningaloo, we hope to be back again soon! read less

Myself being  new to diving (2 dives) and my partners first ever dive. We were very well looked after by our guide Charlie. We saw loads of amazing creatures including grey nurse sharks, wobbegongs, massive groupers. These guys are super passionate about the reef and we loved our double dive with them! My fear of heights came out with the need to jump off the pier  but the crew were encouraging and got the job done.  The whole experience was so well organised we won’t hesitate to dive with this company when we come back next time.

She was thorough and made us feel extremely comfortable going into our booked dives. From being picked up in their bus... read moreWe did a discovery dive at the Muiron Islands with Dive Ningaloo.  From being picked up in their bus (which honestly needs a bit of TLC) to the dives themselves we had a brilliant time.  Between our dive master, Chloe (I hope that’s the correct spelling), and Helene, our dive master in training, we were so carefully looked after,especially when I had a little trouble with one of the skill tests and kept swallowing a bucket of sea water.  They were so patient and encouraging when I wanted to give up.  Once I had that skill test mastered we descended into the Aquarium dive spot and got to see some stunning fish and other sea critters, including a couple of mantarays and a turtle.  Our second dive was also fantastic, we saw giant clams, so many varieties of beautiful fish and even a small shark.  Chloe made sure we got to see as much as possible in the timeframe.  I had some difficulty getting back on the boat with all the gear on but Chloe was there to help me out as were the other crew members.  Thanks to Jesse, Kat, Freida (spelling?) and Charlie for also helping to make our day one to remember.  We would love to do the Navy Pier but it looks booked out, oh well. read less

The dives were all 60 mins long... read moreI had an absolutely fantastic week diving with the legends at Dive Ningaloo. The dives were all 60 mins long and we even got some visitors on the surface - first time seeing orcas! The dive sites are fabulous and the navy pier completely knocked me for 6.

As a dive master, I have to say quite how impressed I was with how this team work. They operate a strict safety-first dive school and I never felt concerned. They are friendly, professional, fun, and incredibly good at what they do. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so kind and always smiling.

A special thanks to Wendy, Tam, Em, Chloe, Sam and Jesse for the incredible days on the boat - some of the best diving I’ve ever done and even a bbq onboard - phenomenal!!

100% recommend these guys to everyone and I’ll 100% be back. Thanks again Dive Ningaloo for making this an unforgettable trip!

I had not dived for 15 years so Charlie one of the Senior Instructors became my buddy and after a short trip to the military base and revision on the platform we dived the navy pier which is an absolutely wonderful dive and saw close up, angel fish, wobbegong, reef and white tip sharks, lion fish, huge grouper and cod to name but a few.  All kit provided and a very lovely friendly team.  Cannot recommend this dive enough and Dive Ningaloo are the only dive company with the license to dive the Navy Pier. The staff were helpful and were very observant during my guided dive spotting many things I did not such as Octopi and Wobbegong sharks. The access to the navy pier was very well organised and we were able to start out dives with no issues. The diversity of life at that site is amazing however the visibility is lower than sites further offshore and the pylons may be intimidating for new divers. The professionalism of the guides made it very accessible for a beginner diver like me though. It was a very special experience read less

For non-qualified divers they give some onsite training and then the dive is done with a guide. It was an absolutely amazing experience with abundant fish life including sharks, turtles, huge groper, cod, coral trout, schools of trevally, nudibranches, lion fish... it was absolutely stunning.
